The Tri-County Oil and Gas Committee and the Pennsylvania CareerLinks(R) of Greene, Washington, Beaver, Fayette Counties and the Mon Valley are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2013 Tri-County Energy Employment Fair. The event will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. The Energy Employmnet Fair is free to the employers and job seekers.

As the development of natural gas from the Pennsylvania Marcellus Shale increases, the potential of providing thousands of jobs in Pennsylvania exists. One of the great challenges for the natural gas industry and for our area is the availability of trained, reliable, skilled workers both white and blue collar. The Energy Employment Fair is designed to focus on career opportunities and to match job seeker and employer. We want the industry to find workers they need and we want our local people to have access to good paying, stable jobs.

Employers may accept applications and resumes, offer information about positions currently available and interview for part-time or full-time positions. We encourage you to provide information that promotes your business.

Your participation at the Energy Employment Fair enables you to:

Eliminate the expense of recruiting candidates
Provide you with an opportunity to pre-screen candidates for future hiring
receive information on the availablitityof Federal and State Tax Credits
Have the opportunity to network with other business owners
Encourage economic development by offering employment to local applicants
